Akseera has built a strong team, identified market opportunities, developed research programs, and obtained the necessary licenses and approvals to operate in the newly established and fast evolving legal Cannabis and Cannabinoid space. Akseera continues to support ground breaking research to uncover the therapeutic potential of Cannabinoids at with our distinguished collaborators and partners.

Our research at Simon Fraser University has resulted in protected the Intellectual Property (IP), and is in the process of commercialization. Our research has uncovered a unique mechanism of action of a Cannabinoid, posing significant therapeutic potential for several conditions. We strive to further explore the mechanisms for different diseases, other Cannabinoids and design novel therapeutic molecules. We are well integrated into networks in the international pharmaceutical and biotech space toward commercialization. Our commercialization strategy includes collaboration with partners with manufacturing capabilities to cater to local and international markets; taking advantage of low-cost manufacturing in India; until Akseera further develops its infrastructure.

Our success is tied not only to innovation in science, but also towards defining and following the shortest path to market. Central to commercialization of pharmaceuticals and especially those containing Cannabinoids, are the permits from Health Authorities. Akseera holds licenses to research and manufacture Cannabinoid-based therapeutics in India; in addition to the Cannabinoid research and Natural Health Products licenses in Canada. Our highly experienced, qualified and enthusiastic team enables translation of our research outcomes into safe Cannabinoid-based medications. Our team harbors specialists in formulation development, manufacturing, patent law, business management, commercialization and biotechnology.
